Het Europees Handvest voor regionale talen of talen fan minderheden is 25 jaar in werking. Is dat drijfzand of een dansvloer? Die vraag stond centraal op de DINGtiid-lezing 2022. Conclusie: er kan zeker worden gedanst, maar \u2018it takes two to tango\u2019.<\/h4>\n

DINGtiid nodigt u uit voor de DINGtiid-lezing op 13 april 2023 in Den Haag. Tiny Kox en Heinrich Winter nemen u graag mee de dansvloer op.<\/p>\n

Parlementsvoorzitter Tiny Kox over het Europees Handvest<\/strong>
\nLimburger Tiny Kox (parlementsvoorzitter van de Raad van Europa en lid van de Eerste Kamer voor de SP) zal vanuit zijn ervaring vertellen over 25 jaar Europees Handvest. Wat is er bereikt, en hoe kunnen de aanbevelingen van de Raad van Europa nog effectiever worden omgezet in wetgeving en beleid voor het Fries, Nedersaksisch, Limburgs, Jiddisch, Romani, Papiaments en Nederlandse gebarentaal?<\/p>\n

Bestuurskundige Heinrich Winter over de toepassing van een Lokaal Handvest<\/strong>
\nHeinrich Winter is hoogleraar bestuurskunde aan de Rijksuniversiteit Groningen. Op de DINGtiid-lezing 2022<\/a> analyseerde hij de toekomstbestendigheid van het Europees Handvest, en deed het voorstel om tot een Lokaal Handvest te komen. In Den Haag zal hij zijn visie geven op hoe overheden in Frysl\u00e2n met de inwoners tot zo\u2019n handvest kunnen komen om de ambities van de Friese taal en cultuur vast te leggen. Dat denkproces kan dienen als voorbeeld voor andere erkende talen van het Europees Handvest.<\/p>\n

\nDe DINGtiid-lezing vindt plaats op donderdag 13 april 2023<\/strong> in The Hague Conference Centre \u2013 New Babylon (Anna van Buerenplein 29, Den Haag). Wij beginnen om 15.00 uur<\/strong> met koffie en thee. Om 17.00 uur sluiten wij af met een drankje en hapje.<\/p>\n
